uture:  While we seek that which makes us complete, our trail becomes a footpath for others to follow lit by the faith we hold to reach that which lies within us.  Let our lives be lived as a tribute to those before us and as a guide to those whom have yet to be.

The song "Remember You" was written by Jim Andrews and the Second Shift Country Music Band.

Jim was the brother of Matthew's roommate at S.I.U.

The song was performed at a fundraising event after Matthew's death and brought in over $11,000.00 to help with expenses.

It continues to inspire all whom hear it.

"Remember You"

There are so many lessons, that teach us wrong from right. There's bound to be somebody, who'll impact your whole life. Like a man I knew, only in his twenties, when his world came crashing down.  He spent his life making memories, when he was still around he taught me something, that I know I'll remember as I grow old.

Love your neighbor, have faith in God, believe in family, make memories that last a lifetime, for all the world to see. Don't give up without a fight, if what you're doing you know is right. Make your mark on all you do, and your whole world will remember you.

He worried more for others, that he'd leave behind. He said his peace to all he could, before that upward climb. While he faced the fate he was destined to, you still could see him smile. And as he was called when time ran out. he pushed life one more mile. I know his friends and family won't forget his legacy.

Love your neighbor, have faith in God, believe in family, make memories that last a lifetime, for all the world to see. Don't give up without a fight, if what you're doing is right. Make your mark on all you do, and your whole world will remember you.

Your whole world.....will remember you.
